Patterns and Perceptions: Breaking Down Implicit Bias

About This Webinar

Join Anti-Defamation League and Share My Lesson for a webinar on the effects of implicit bias on individuals and school communities.

The Anti-Defamation League will share their understanding of implicit bias theory. Participants will develop an understanding of implicit bias theory; explore how it plays out in school settings; reflect on the potential harmful impacts of implicit bias on relationships with colleagues, students and families; explore the connections between implicit bias and student well-being and achievement; and come away with practical skills, resources and teaching strategies to mitigate and address bias-related challenges.

Professional Credit

Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.

Share My Lesson is now a New York State Education Department-approved provider for Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) requirements and an Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) approved Professional Development provider.
